Company Photo - Company A, 3-227 Assault Battaltion, Afghanistan, August 2011390 viewsMike Caudle Photo

We took our company photo 8/28/2011. Unfortunately, we are missing some people that are currently supporting Medevac "Dustoff" aircraft at outlying camps. We will take another photo before leaving theater to get everyone. We are changing out company commanders in December so we will also have a new CO and new platoon leaders in the next photo.

The Chickenman patch is the CO's and is mounted next to his desk (CPT Russell J. Nelson). He also served as a platoon leader when the company was in Iraq in 06-08 rotation. I also served as a door gunner during that rotation as SSG Caudle, 11C Mortarman, with Bco 3-227 "Jokers".
