From Bob Kelly: " Both of our hydraulic systems were shot out and being a charlie model we lost control. The nose pitched up then we rolled to an inverted position. Our instuctors were right. A Huey will not fly upside down. This was not a thick jungle and you can see from the pictures there was plenty of bare ground to hit. We got lucky and our fall was broken by a tree. Otherwise I would not be writing this!"

I was honored to be allowed to visit inside the home at rear. Very neat and organized. Sleeping mats rolled up and put up. Clean dirt floor. Cooking items. Cooking area. I was very careful in asking permission using hand signs and some English. I believe they understood I was trying to better understand their culture.
