Panama Canal Crossing796 viewsOnboard Ship to Vietnam
I remember one crew chief by the last name of Yates. He was a slight individual, crew chief, with whom I talked to quite a lot aboard ship. The fellow with glasses in the picture reminded me of him but I don't think it was Yates.

Onboard Ship to Vietnam
I do not remember the name of the ship. I think this picture taken of George Klein aboard ship was pre Panama Canal crossing. When going through the canal we stopped in the canal in I believe Panama. We had a captain aboard whose wife was the daughter of the governor and we stopped there. I forget the captains name. He was an extremely nice person.
